This page explains how to submit a copyright infringement notice (a "takedown notice") under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), and how to submit a counter-notification if you believe material was removed in error.

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice to our DMCA Agent, include all of the following information in writing:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (describe the work with sufficient detail).
3. Identification of the infringing material to be removed or disabled — including the URL(s) where the material appears on our Site.
4. Contact information for the complaining party (name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address).
5. A statement of good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Important: Title 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) provides for civil liability for any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing. Please only submit accurate, truthful claims.

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent. Your counter-notification must include the following elements under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. A description of the material that was removed and the original location (URL) where it appeared.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the U.S., consenting to jurisdiction where the service provider may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.

We take copyright infringement seriously. We maintain records of DMCA notices and make a good faith effort to identify repeat infringers. Accounts or users who repeatedly infringe copyright will face account termination and removal of access to the Site where appropriate.
